THE LEVEL 3 EXPERIENCE
MOVE WITH INTENTION. PERFORM WITH CONFIDENCE.
Level 3 is where step begins to move beyond learning combinations and into performance development.
You’ll work through advanced choreography, athletic movement, musicality, and conditioning while learning how to refine the details that make a routine feel polished — timing, precision, transitions, energy, and presence.
This level is especially fitting for experienced steppers and movers, including people with backgrounds in dance ensembles, cheerleading, gymnastics, athletics, sports teams, or other performance-based movement.
The choreography may challenge you.
But you’ll still be taught.
You’ll still be coached.
And you’ll still have time to refine what you’re learning.
Learn it. Refine it. Perform it.
MORE THAN ADVANCED CHOREOGRAPHY
BUILD THE PERFORMANCE.
Performance Quality
Develop stronger execution, cleaner transitions, confidence, energy, and presence as routines become more polished.
Routine Development
Move beyond individual combinations and begin building choreography into complete, performance-ready routines.
Cardio + Stamina
Build the conditioning needed to sustain more demanding choreography and athletic movement.
Precision + Coordination
Refine timing, direction, footwork, and control so movement becomes cleaner and more intentional.
Musicality
Learn to hear, interpret, and move with the music so choreography feels connected to rhythm rather than simply counted.
HOW LEVEL 3 WORKS
LEARN IT. REFINE IT. PERFORM IT.
Level 3 is progressive and performance-focused. Choreography is taught and reviewed, then refined through repetition, coaching, musicality, and performance detail as we work toward stronger, more polished routines.
LEARN
We break down advanced choreography and movement so you understand the combination before refining it.
PRACTICE
You repeat the choreography, build stamina, and become more confident with timing and transitions.
REFINE
We focus on precision, musicality, execution, energy, and the details that elevate the routine.
PERFORM
Select routines may be developed for Levels content, demonstrations, community events, and other performance opportunities.
Learn the choreography. Refine the details. Build the confidence to perform it.

COMMON QUESTIONS
BEFORE YOU PERFORM.
Who is Level 3 designed for?
Level 3 is designed for experienced steppers and movers who are ready for advanced choreography, greater athletic demand, musicality, routine development, and performance-focused coaching.
Do I need a dance background?
No. A dance background is not required. However, participants with experience in dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, athletics, sports teams, or other performance-based movement may find the pace and choreography especially familiar.
Will the choreography still be taught?
Yes. Advanced does not mean unexplained. Step movements and choreography are taught and reviewed throughout class before we begin refining timing, musicality, execution, and performance quality.
What makes Level 3 different from Level 2?
Level 2 focuses on building challenge through step cardio, choreography, rhythm, coordination, and conditioning. Level 3 adds more advanced choreography, athletic movement, musicality, routine development, precision, and performance quality.
Will classes be filmed?
Select routines may be developed for Levels social or digital content, but participation and any required photo/video permissions will be communicated separately. Appearing in content is not automatically required simply because you register for Level 3.
Are there actual performance opportunities?
Level 3 may include opportunities to develop routines for demonstrations, community events, appearances, Levels content, and other performance settings. Specific opportunities will be communicated as they are scheduled.
How often does Level 3 meet?
The current Level 3 series meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00–8:00 PM. Refer to the series schedule above for the current dates.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and supportive athletic shoes with good stability for dynamic and directional movement. During rain, snow, or other inclement weather, bring a clean pair of indoor athletic shoes to change into before class.
What happens if I miss a class?
If you miss a class during your registered series, you may attend one Saturday Levels Step class at no additional charge as a make-up session. Your make-up must be completed while your current series is still in session and is limited to one complimentary Saturday make-up per series.
What if The Levels Studio cancels a class?
If The Levels Studio cancels a scheduled class, registered participants will be notified using the contact information provided during registration and a replacement session will be added. Studio-canceled sessions do not count toward your one complimentary Saturday make-up.
What is the series cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your registration for the full series, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the series begins. Whenever possible, 48 hours’ notice is appreciated.
Will I complete a fitness waiver?
